I worry that people are losing the ability to have varied and interesting conversations with each other. The culture of texting and technology has weakened our interpersonal skills somewhat and we more commonly fail to connect and care about others through our daily interactions with them. Conversation begins to feel forced with some people or like it is going through the motions. I think that by really taking the time to care about someone’s family affairs, events in their day, progress of their work, whatever… we can better improve our relationships and the quality of our lives. This feeling is somewhat why i never shut up basically, i just really care about others and take interest in everything they do. Its a little overwhelming but if that’s one of my flaws, then im fine with that.
